I, Anushka Dubey, appointed as the Head Girl of St. Francis School for the session 2022-23. It has been six years since I came to this school. When I entered the school I was shy, quiet and cried a bit. As the time passed I got the opportunities to participate in the curricular activities. It changed me from a shy to a bold girl. It made me self- independent with lot of courage. In class VI I was appointed as the class prefect Mrs. Dipika, this opportunity made me a bit bold and confident.

St. Francis is a place where my minds truly developed. I would like to thank all my teaches who helped and encouraged me in every step of my school life. They made me today who I am beside that this school has given to me true friend and wonderful days.

Now I have grown up and skills. The competitions like declamation, dance, carol song etc. were held. I took part and even won same times.

I would like to thank the school for appointing me as the head girl. As I have got this golden opportunity. I will do my duties sincerely and whole heartedly and help all the young of the school. I promise that I will fulfill all my responsibilities well. It needs a lot of patience sincerity and the ability to sacrifice be a good head girl.

I was eight years old when I took admission in St. Francis School, Samlong. When I joined my new class I was so afraid that how I will able to face the English medium school because previously I was studying in Hindi medium school. But after joining the class how I changed I didn’t understood. I became a very intellectual skilled student. When I entered this school I was a weak student but slowly- slowly everything changed. Many teachers have taught us many thinks listening to them I developed my lifestyle. This school has given me a lot. This is the place where my mind truly developed. After coming to this school I took part in many competitions and even I won many times.

It has been seven years since I came to this school when I first stepped in the school I was shy girl. As the time passed I grown up as self independent girl with lot of courage. St. Francis is a place I spent the most beautiful years of my life.

I would like to thank all my teachers who helped and encouraged me in every aspect of my school life. They made me today who I am beside that this school has given me a wonderful friends and most amazing and memorials days. That would help me face world in future.

As I have grown up and developed myself the school too developed not only infrastructure but also in field of the way of teaching, sports, extra- curriculum activities.

The school drama helped me to improve my speaking skills. The quizzes and debates lead to grow our knowledge. We have singing and dancing class for the students who are interested in it. The annual sports in which children takes part with lot enthusiasm. All this above made us intellectually, morally and spiritually active.

Now as I am a head girl. I got many opportunities to prove myself and also learn how to lead a disciplined life. It needs a lot of patience, sincerity and the ability to sacrifice to be a good head girl.
