St. Francis School Samlong, is a harbinger in the field of education in Samlong of Ranchi, Jharkhand. It is a Christian Minority educational institution established in 2004, owned and run by the Franciscan Brothers (Congregation of the Missionary Brothers of Saint Francis of Assisi – CMSF).

It was the ardent love of Christ that led the Brothers to cater to the need of the population of Samlong, Ranchi for an intellectually and morally sound quality education. As a Christian Minority co-educational institution, it is open to the children of all communities regardless of colour, caste and creed. It follows the syllabus of the Indian Certificate Secondary Examinations (ICSE), Delhi and the medium of instruction is English.
